Where ASB Began?
ASB began as a hackathon idea. What started as a simple acceptance criteria generator evolved—through validation and rapid prototyping—into a multi-artefact assistant.

The Problem
Teams across government struggle to produce user stories, personas, and acceptance criteria quickly. Most aren’t agile-trained, causing long delays and inconsistent artefacts.

TIME SAVINGS
Users could produce a first version in seconds

CLARITY
Helpful for teams without Agile Training

ADOPTION
Officers wanted it integrated with tools they already use
Pivot to Pair Chat
User research revealed one clear behaviour: everyone was already using Pair Chat daily.
We rebuilt ASB as a native AI Assistant—making it accessible instantly across the whole government.

Outcome
Research validated strong demand. Leadership supported the idea and our team prepared for a public showcase at Government Digital Transformation Day.

AGILE PLANNING POKER DECK
Designed a custom Agile Planning Poker deck as a giveaway prize for the interactive quiz at GDT.
This strengthened ASB’s brand and created buzz at the booth.

EVENT MARKETING MATERIALS
To support the roadshow, I designed a full mini-marketing kit including: event flyers, quiz sign-up visuals, a cohesive colour + icon system aligned with ASB

Key Takeaways
Agile Story Buddy grew from a small hackathon prototype into a tool used across the Whole of Government.
My biggest contribution was turning assumptions into evidence, and evidence into decisive product direction.
